Sustainable relaxation for everyday life

How can you be happy, relaxed, healthy and always full of energy? To do this, it is necessary to find the right balance between high performance and deep relaxation.

For a quick and intense relaxation session, the following methods are best suited: autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobson or simple breathing or visualisation exercises.
No time for a short holiday at our hotel? Then why not go on an energy holiday in your imagination for deep relaxation!

Breathe in through your nose and count to three slowly as you inhale. Hold your breath for a moment and exhale through your mouth. Slow down the flow of breath a little, e.g. with your lips. Count to three again, but a little slower than when you inhaled. Then pause briefly before begining the next breath.

Now, with the help of your imagination, go on a journey to a place that you like and find beautiful. This can be a place you remember from a holiday, for example, or you can create a very personal place in your imagination, lush meadows full of alpine flowers, a view from a lonely mountain peak, etc. Look around you: What do you particularly like there? What colours and shapes can you see? Can you hear anything? Do you associate a certain smell with this place? Consciously take in your surroundings with all your senses.

You can also go on a short energy holiday in your imagination while looking out of the window or in front of the computer. After a few minutes "on holiday", consciously detach yourself from that inner image. To do so, maybe take a few steps back or have a good stretch. In total, you should allocate seven to ten minutes for this exercise.
