Agility course

Since June 2025, we have been offering our four-legged guests our new agility dog course.

Right next to the Alpenhotel Karwendel, a lovingly designed agility course awaits you and your furry friend - safely fenced in and just 100 meters from the hotel.
Equipped with

A-wall, catwalk, seesaw
a 6 meter long tunnel,
slalom course and ten hurdles

it offers ideal conditions for playful training, joint activities and lots of fun. Your dog will also have a great time on vacation!

For respectful coexistence between two-legged and four-legged friends

Our four-legged friend must be kept on a lead throughout the hotel (except for the agility course)
So that other guests do not feel disturbed, we keep our four-legged friends away from the sunbathing areas, pond and pool.
The only exception is the sunbathing area around our log cabin (please keep them on a lead).
The fur nose is not louder than its companion on two feet.
If your dog is alone in the room, please hang the "do not disturb" sign outside. This way we avoid unpleasant encounters between two- and four-legged friends during room cleaning.

We recommend that you take out liability insurance for dog owners. This way you don't have to worry about any damage to our wellness hotel.
Although we assume that you are bringing a well-behaved dog with you, we must point out that any damage to the furnishings will be documented by us and charged for.
If the room is unusually dirty, an additional final cleaning fee of € 80 will be charged.
Our friend on 4 paws always stays on the floor in the room. A dog blanket is available for this purpose. Bed, couch or armchair are for two-legged friends only.
The legacy of our four-legged friends MUST be disposed of in the bins provided!

Dogs are welcome throughout the Seefeld region.
There are bathing facilities with dogs.
There are places to stop for refreshments with dogs.
All golf courses in the region are dog-friendly.
Many activities with dogs are possible - whether hiking, cross-country skiing or winter hiking!
You can find dog supplies in Seefeld. There are two specialized stores there.

Basic information about your vacation with a dog

We currently do not allow more than eight dogs in the hotel at the same time (1 dog per room). Please ask us before booking whether we still have room for your four-legged friend at the desired time.
In our Karwendel Berglodge with apartments (100m away) more than one dog per apartment is welcome!
We charge € 20,- per day per dog (without food)
We ask you to leave your beloved four-legged friend in your room during breakfast and dinner.
Of course, you may have breakfast and dinner on the sun terrace and take your four-legged companion with you.

You are welcome to take your dog into our hotel lobby before and after mealtimes!
In our hotel store at the reception you can buy the most important things for your vacation with your four-legged friend!
Dog sitters can be organized on request (for a fee).
If you would like to go hiking with your dog:
Many Austrian hiking trails are signposted that dogs must be kept on a lead. Find out in advance whether the route is feasible for your dog or whether dogs are not permitted at all. For alpine hikes, it is better to use a harness instead of a simple collar for safety reasons.
