Dear guests,

it is very important to us to ensure you enjoy a pleasant and, above all, safe stay with us. At the moment, Leutasch is Corona-free! To keep it that way, all safety measures of the Austrian Federal Government are being implemented at our hotel.

In addition, some rules of conduct have been laid down by the Federal Ministry for all holiday guests to maintain Corona safety.
In this article, we will give you a detailed overview of how we can work together to ensure you enjoy a safe holiday:

Your stay in winter 21/22

From the winter season 2021/22 we are only allowed to accommodate recovered or vaccinated guests (2G).
This rule applies to people over 12 years of age.

The guests must provide proof of 2G at check-in.

Because people who have just been tested are no longer allowed to enter the hotel. This is why we will no longer carry out tests in the hotel either.

PLEASE NOTE THE BLOCKING HOUR AT 23:00

In essential areas (public transport, supermarkets, post office, bank, etc.), the general FFB2 mask requirement applies.
FFB2 masks can be purchased at reception.

• RECOVERY means:

  • survived illness from Covid19 in the last 180 days

• VACCINATED means:

  • Your second vaccination was done 14 days ago (Johnson & Johnson 1x is enough)
  • and not older than 180 days
Current cancellation information

Cancellation conditions winter 2021/22

  • You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the day of arrival.
  • 7 days to 1 day before the day of arrival 90% of the total package price
  • No arrival or early departure 100% of the total package price

Exceptions:
In the event of a travel warning from your home country for Leutasch, a border closure, a quarantine regulation for your home country, or if you are actively suffering from Covid19 (doctor's certificate required), you can cancel the booking at any time free of charge. This also applies to the termination of your vacation for one of the reasons mentioned above.

To protect yourself, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance!

 

Cancellation conditions summer 2022

  • You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival
  • 14 to 7 days before the day of arrival 70% of the total package price
  • 7 days to 1 day before the day of arrival 90% of the total package price
  • No arrival or early departure 100% of the total package price

Exception:
In the event of a travel warning for our region, a border closure, a quarantine regulation for your home country, or if you are actively suffering from Covid19 (doctor's certificate required), you can cancel this reservation at any time free of charge. This also applies to the termination of your vacation for one of the reasons mentioned above.

WHAT I CAN DO AS A GUEST:

We kindly ask you to respect the following rules during your stay at the Karwendel. This will protect you, other guests and our staff.
Thank you very much!

An overview of the most important rules of conduct:
  • I respect the blocking hour at 11pm.
  • I keep distance between myself and others!
  • I refrain from shaking hands or other physical contact (with the exception of fellow travelers from my household)!
  • I wear my face mask in all interior hotel areas, with the exception of: my table in the dining hall, my room, and the wellness area.
  • I regularly use the disinfectant dispensors provided by the hotel and wash my hands!
  • Should you experience symptoms of illness before your holiday, we strongly advise you to cancel your trip!
  • Should you experience symptoms of illness during your holiday, you must see a doctor immediately. 
HOW WE PROTECT OUR GUESTS & EMPLOYEES:

1. Check-in:

  • All our comfortable rooms undergo a thorough cleaning before the arrival of our new guests. Please understand that there may be delays due to the disinfection of the rooms. However, we will do our best to make your room available to you as usual from 14:00.

 

2. Reception:

  • Our receptionists are at your disposal - in the usual way - for all your questions and concerns! Please note that only people who live in the same room can be served together at the reception. We therefore ask you to take a seat in the reception lobby if you have to wait.


3. Rooms:

  • Digital room folder:

    Your room is available to you with all the usual amenities.
    The only difference is that the hotel and vitality folders will no longer be provided in the rooms.
    In order to offer you all the information you need, you can use our new digital room folder - the "Gastfreund App". To do so, we ask you to simply download our "Gastfreund App" onto your smartphone, where you can then read all the important information about your stay.

    Alternatively, a large touch screen and/or copies of our hotel and vitality folder are available to you at our reception. While reading, please be aware of the minimum safety distance to others!

  • Minibar:The minibar is available to you, but it will be empty. If you so wish, we will be happy to fill it for you on a daily basis. Please place your order at the reception.

  • Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to provide you with a fruit basket in your room at the moment. However, you are welcome to use the basket in your room to collect fresh fruit from the large fruit basket at the buffet and take it to your room!

 

4. Restaurant, buffet, bar & more:

4.1. Restaurant

  • Breakfast:
    In order to be able to adhere to the minimum distances, the breakfast times will be extended. Breakfast times: 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

  • Lunch buffet:
    Here, too, your table will be assigned to you by the staff.

  • Dinner:
    In the evening your table will also be assigned to you by the staff.

  • Á la carte - restaurant service:

  • If you have booked "bed and breakfast" for your stay, you are welcome to enjoy our à la carte cuisine in the Karwendel restaurant.
    We ask you to reserve a table by 5 p.m. at the latest. Without a reservation, longer waiting times can occur.
  • Please note our curfew at 11 p.m.!

4.2. Buffets

  • Behavior at the buffet:
    If you want to get food from the buffet, please do not forget to put on your FFP2 mask and disinfect your hands BEFORE using the food tongs, beverage taps or similar.
    We would also like to remind you again to keep your distance at the buffet.
    Thank you for your help!

4.3. Bar, lounge & TV room

  • Unfortunately, no drinks or food are allowed at our hotel bar at the moment
  • Our common rooms are available to you - as usual. Here, too, we ask you to pay attention to the minimum distance!
  • PLEASE NOTE THE BLOCKING HOUR AT 23:00!

 

5. Wellness & swimming fun

  • An FFP2 mask must be worn in the swimming and wellness area. ONLY the saunas, the showers and the swimming pool are excluded.
  • We remind you that our wellness area near the indoor pool also has a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a brine lounge and an infrared cabin.
  • In order to keep the distances we ask if the frequency is too high
  • Vital pavilion can also be used in this area!

5.1. Swimming areas

  • Our indoor pool is also open for you this winter.

5.2. Wellness area & saunas

  • We are very happy that we can all open our saunas!
  • Appointments for your sauna visit:
    In order to comply with all legal requirements, we ask you to enter yourself in the sauna appointment lists in front of the respective sauna cabins. The appointments are assigned every 20 minutes and the lists are posted daily from 7 a.m. in the morning. It is very important to us that all our guests have the opportunity to enjoy a sauna. We therefore ask you to support us here and not to block several times at the same time. In order to really enable all guests to use the sauna, we have extended our sauna times and from now on all saunas will open at 1 p.m.
  • Statutory safety regulations:
    The legal requirements stipulate that a maximum of 1 group of people from one household may stay in a sauna cabin. Unfortunately, infusions are not permitted.
    We ask you to disinfect your seat after the sauna with the disinfectant provided before the sauna. (Only with provided paper towels)
    Thank you very much for your help and contribution to complying with the strict legal requirements!

5.3. Relaxation rooms

  • For your own safety, we ask our guests to keep a safe distance in the Ruhr area!
    Here, too, it is very important to us that you and all our guests have the opportunity to enjoy our relaxation rooms. For this reason, it is strictly forbidden to reserve loungers (except during your sauna session). Our employees are required to remove "abandoned" items.
  • Cleaning & disinfection:
    All loungers, as well as the relaxation areas, are cleaned and disinfected regularly (at high frequency). So you can relax carefree!

5.4. Experience showers & sanitary areas

  • In order to maintain the minimum distance, we ask that you only use the showers and sanitary areas individually.

5.5. Massages

  • We can offer you unlimited massages.
  • It is mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask!
  • We ask for your understanding that there may be slight delays due to the high cleaning and disinfection effort!

 

5. Wellness & swimming fun

5.1. Swimming areas

  • Our indoor pool & swimming pond are also open this summer. 
  • To ensure your safety, only a limited number of guests may use the pond and the indoor pool at any one time. Therefore, please note that a maximum of 4 people are allowed to swim in the indoor pool and a maximum of 8 people are allowed to swim in the swimming pond at the same time.
    Again, thank you very much for your assistance!

5.2. Wellness areas & saunas

  • We are very pleased to be able to have all our saunas up and running.
  • Appointments in the saunas:
    In order to comply with all legal requirements, we ask you to sign the sauna appointment lists in front of the respective saunas. Appointments are made every 20 minutes.
    It is very important to us that all our guests have the opportunity to enjoy a sauna session. Therefore, we ask you to support us here and not to block several appointment slots at the same time.
    In order for all our guests to enjoy a sauna session, we have extended our sauna opening hours and from now on all saunas will open at 1 pm.
  • Legal safety regulations:
    The legal requirements stipulate that a maximum of 2 people are allowed in a sauna. Unfortunately, infusions & towel waving are also not permitted.
    We kindly ask you to disinfect your seating area after your sauna session with the disinfectant provided outside the sauna.
    Thank you very much for your assistance & contribution to comply with these strict legal requirements!

5.3. Quiet rooms & sunbathing lawn in the hotel garden

  • In order to maintain the minimum safety distance, we have occupied or removed every second couch in the relaxation rooms. In addition, we have also converted our gymnastics room into a second relaxation room.
  • This way we can ensure that all our guests enjoy a relaxing time & many valuable moments between sauna sessions.
  • There are plenty of sun loungers available in our quiet garden. In order to comply with all safety regulations in the garden as well, we kindly ask you to maintain the safety distances between the sunbeds and not to move them.Again, it is of great importance to us that you and all our guests have the opportunity to enjoy our hotel garden. For this reason, reserving sunbeds (except during your sauna session) is strictly prohibited. Our staff are required to remove "abandoned" utensils.
  • Cleaning & disinfection:
    All loungers, as well as the quiet areas, are regularly and frequently cleaned & disinfected, so you can relax worry-free!

 

5.4. Sensory showers & sanitary areas

  • In order to maintain the minimum safety distance, we ask you to use the showers and sanitary areas only one at a time.
  • All showers and sanitary areas are cleaned & disinfected regularly and frequently!

 

5.5. Massages

  • We are also very pleased to inform you that all massages can be booked without restrictions.
    Please understand that the high cleaning and disinfection effort may result in some delays!

 

6. Activities at Karwendel

6.1. Weekly relaxation programme

  • This is carried out depending on the weather and the number of participants.
  • Since we have to keep the distance here too, participation is limited to a certain number of people.
  • An FFP2 mask does not have to be worn when exercising.

6.2. Gym

  • Our fitness room is also available to you.
  • An FFP2 mask does not have to be worn when exercising.
  • Please note that currently only a maximum of 2 people are allowed to train in the fitness room at the same time!
  • Cleaning:
  • We ask you to disinfect all devices used after use. Disinfectant dispensers are available for you on site.Every evening the fitness room is also thoroughly disinfected by our housekeeping team.

6.3. Region and excursions:

  • Most of the leisure facilities are open for you.

7. CHECK-OUT

  • We ask that you vacate your room for our housekeeping team by 10:00 am at the latest. Due to the legal requirements, our employees need more time for cleaning and disinfection. So the next guest can also enjoy their precious and "safe" moments with us in the Karwendel.
  • Cashless payment is desirable! (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro (EC card)

  • Germany:
    When entering Germany, a digital entry form must be filled out!
